The Oak Lawn Park Distict is Looking for your help with a new project. We are excited to be starting the 1000 mile walking club.The club will focus on getting children off their couches and out from behind their computers to get them walking and exercising and hopefully teaching them how to live a healthier lifestyle. The alarming rise in juvenile obesity and health related issues is the key factor pushing the endeavor.
Please help by sponsoring one or more childern in this club. Your sponsorship will go towards providing them with enrollment in the club, a pedometer(measures your steps), log book and a t-shirt. Our goal is to get as many children involved and to make a life long difference in their life.
